Marian, a native austinite, is a self-taught artist whose work includes oil and acrylic on canvas, cardboard and other mediums. She incorporates different textures to reflect depth and style. A pediatric oncology nurse who is passionate about her work with children began painting as an emotional release of her demanding profession. Each painting reflects real emotions and the many layers are deeply intertwined to tell a story.
